Alternative names: Tejamantri, Caturoga, Antaga, Maha_Punggung
Type: God
Origin: Java
Description in the Javanese wayang retellings: He accompanies and advices the antagonists in wayang. In a common origin story, he was created from the shell of an egg, while Ismaya (Semar) was created from the egg white and Manikmaya (Guru) from the yolk. Like his siblings, Togog initially had a handsome face but as a result of his wrongdoings, he was eventually changed into a distorted form (there are multiple versions about how this came about).
Notes on the Indian retellings: Not mentioned in the Indian Mahabharata.
